When We Started

A & R Solar Cleaning was started in January of 2021. With the rise of solar power for homes in Florida, we knew there would be a need to have your solar panels cleaned. After hours of research on how to clean solar panels properly and what equipment was needed, we purchased everything recommended by the manufacturers, and we started solar panel cleaning service.

Solar Panel Cleaning Education

After some time, more and more people were finding out about us and the need for having their solar panels cleaned; solar panels create more energy, and the more they can absorb direct sunlight. Bird droppings, algae, and other dirt and debris can build up on your panels and block the sunlight. According to statistics, dirty solar panels can lose up to 20% of their efficiency if not cleaned on a regular basis.

Having your panels professionally cleaned helps ensure good power production and panel efficiency. We’ve invested more and more into having better and more efficient solar panel cleaning equipment made specifically for cleaning solar panels and invested the time into talking to panel manufacturers on the processes for removing heavy algae, paint and cement so the wrong chemicals and/or processes aren’t used causing damage to the solar panels.

Service Areas

In January of 2021, our first job and customer was in Lake Mary, Florida, and today we have almost 300 customers and growing. We have customers that live anywhere from St. Cloud to St. Augustine, Florida; we cover everything in East Central Florida and then some.

Counties we cover – Volusia County Seminole County, Orange County, Flagler County, St. Johns County, Lake County and even some of Brevard County.

Cities we cover – DeLand, Deltona, Orange City, Debary, Sanford, Lake Mary, Longwood, Orlando, Melbourne, Daytona Beach, Kissimmee, Altamonte Springs, Port Orange, New Smyrna Beach, Ormand Beach, Palm Coast, St. Augustine, Eustis. Mt. Dora, Apopka, Lake Helen, Osteen, Geneva, Edgewater, Mims and then some.

As our customer base grows, we grow in those areas to provide outstanding service.

A&R Solar Cleaning is locally owned and operated, fully licensed and insured, and committed to providing you with excellent solar panel cleaning service. We use only deionized filtered water and specialized solar panel cleaning equipment to ensure your solar panels are spotless from all the baked-on Florida pollutants and ready to crank out maximum power!

For us, along with a professional job, we also provide top professional customer service; your experience with us is number one on our list. We follow up with you before the job, during the job with roof level before and after photos, and then after the job.

We don’t stop there. If you’re a bi-annual or annual customer, you’ll receive scheduled follow ups throughout the time frame leading up to your next cleaning.
